we went in looking for a new car. we decided on a 2010 kia rio sedan. the sales man told us that the 2009 kia serento had a 5, 000 rebate (it was new, only 48 miles). because of the amount of our trade 2006 chrysler sebring convertible (6, 500) and the 5, 000 rebate it made sense to buy the serento. total price would have been 26, 000 financed.
