A salesman for direct energy came to my home and talked me in to trying direct energy. He said I would hace the cheapest bills ever, and that I could cancel if I wasn't happy. After the first half month I couldn't tell but then when I got my full bill, it was $130 dollars higher than any electric bill I have had at my home for the 20 years I've been there. I immediately called TXU asked to come back. Upon getting my final bill I found they added a $300 EARLY CANCELLATION FEE. On their website it reads no cancellation fee... read full review »
