I have Dunlop Thinwall tires on my VW GTI There was no choice, these were the tires that the car came with and the only option. They are horrible! Thin wall tires should not even be legal. The tires get bumps in the side walls very easily and are expensive to replace. Even very small pot holes cause these bumpouts. I do not know if these are dangerous to drive with. I have tried to contact the company for assistance but have been ignored so far. Thin sidewalls are the worst kinds of tires you can have on your vehicle, avoid them at all cost! read full review »
