My son purchased an airline ticket through Expedia for me in March of 2008 so that I could come to see him graduate from College. The graduation was scheduled for June the same year and the ticket was to be my mother's day gift. Unfortunately and sadly, my son passed away suddenly in May. A few days after he died, I called Expedia to cancel the trip and was told that I would most definitely receive a refund for this ticket, since I would no longer be attending a graduation in Denver.
