If you state that you are taking training on your bi-weekly employment insurance (formerly called unemployment insurance) statements, your benefits WILL BE SUSPENDED until you can prove that your training is not interfering with your job hunting. It takes weeks to for the government to get around to looking at your case and deciding whether they will allow this training.
