During the recent volcanic ash problems my Swiss International Airlines flights were cancelled. I was informed by their representative that if I kept all accommodation, food and transport receipts I would be refunded on my return to the UK. I was delayed for 6 days during this problem and kept all reasonable receipts. However when I tried to claim these back I was informed that they could not honour the refund as promised.
