This used to be a wonderful luxury hotel; we had gone there for years and my husband had great memories of it when he was growing up. Ever since the Fairmont got their little greedy hands on it, it has turned to mush. We booked rooms paying $250/night; we arrived and the room was rundown and toilet didn't work. We asked to transfer to better room so they charged us $150/extra for 2 nights to get an upgrade.
