I purchased a Samsung RSG257AARS at Lowes less than two years ago. It is a beautiful stainless steel unit and I was told that it was highly rated. I started having trouble with the ice-maker about 6 months later. When the ice-maker totally quit working...I looked online for answers and it indicated that I needed to change the water filter (about $44.00 with tax).
