I confirmed with Makro that they close at 18:00 and decided that I would leavef Cape Town city centre after work at 17:00 and rushthrough peak-hour traffic to reach the closest Makro branch (Milnerton) at 18:01. Upon arrival, the door was already locked and a representative (not a security guard) wearing Makro clothing stood holding the keys in his hands and shrieked his shoulders as if he did not understand English.
