One of my most terrible, unpleasant restaurant experiences thus far was at Jimmy the fish in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. I found two long, thick strands of hair lodged into the rice of my salmon rose. Upon politely asking the waitress to kindly take it away and bring the bill, I was accused by the manager of intentionally placing the hairs there as a cheap trick to receive a free meal!
