In August 2006, someone fraudulently used my cheque card +- R11 000 - card I didn't even have in my possession! Following this, I asked for the card to be cancelled. Since then, I periodically receive notifications from Standard Bank asking me to pick up my new cheque card. This is always followed by me calling the bank and asking, yet again, that the card be cancelled.
