I applied for a Airtel Landline connection at my Pashan Residence on 31st July 2010 and subsequently received an SMS on 4th Aug stating that my Reference no was 8474516 and that they would get back to me in 48 hours to talk about my connection. Mr Akashdeep, the rep who met me, told me that I would also get the number of my choice. I had informed them that I stay in Pune only on weekends and would want the connection installed before the 16th, preferably by the 15th.
