Unbelievable! Using my HSBC mastercard, I made a reservation in June for a 4 night stay e at a hotel in New Jersey for the end of July. I promptly went on line one day later and cancelled because of a scheduling issue. I thought I made the appropriate cancellation. I don't remember if it was an automated cancellation or done by email. I have cancelled before at hotels and never had an issue.
