I returned a broken Tassimo coffee maker for replacement under a 3 year insurance cover. The service given by the staff was ok, except that the person had to check with her supervisor whether I would have to pay the difference between the old and new price. The price for the Tassimo has increased by 23% in 18 months. In addition, I had to rebuy insurance for the replaced item. There is functionally no difference between the two items, one is not better than the other. I'm very annoyed that in a recession Argos are able to increase prices by 23% in 18 months.
