I booked a complete vacation package on Expedia. I was not planning on travel insurance, however, they offered a cancel for any reason on completion of the reservation for $142. So I added it. When the email confirmation arrived I noticed an error in the travel date. My browser still had the proper date in the search field on Expedia. Called them right away. They refunded my hotel and air, however, they told me to call the travel insurance company for that portion of the refund. I called and they said Expedia would need to refund the $142. I call Expedia back and they said it was no refundable. I will never use Expedia again. read full review »
