My fiancee is using Airtel Prepaid connection in Pune -- Every once in a month I receive a congratulations SMS from Airtel saying stuff like "You have successfully subscribed to caller tunes. Rs 30 has been deducted from your account...". Today I received a new surprise which says something like, "You have successfully downloaded VAS... Rs 2 has been charged from your account. Using GPRS over Airtel Prepaid connection in Pune -- Frequently mobile sites don't open in the mobile browser. "Connecting..." is displayed endlessly while trying to open sites on Opera Mini 4.1, that is, unless you give up and press on "Stop". After failing to connect after several retries, you exit the browser and Airtel displays something like "Your charges for the last call are Rs 0.30".
