Bought a pair of men's shoes from Clarks which cost £80. One day whilst wearing them, it started to rain, not that unusual in the UK, and I ended up with wet feet. Took the shoes back to Clarks with the receipt complaining that they leaked only to be told that they were 'shower-proof', not 'waterproof' - apparently none of Clarks's shoes are waterproof unless you buy the Gortex brand - be warned, Clarks shoes are not built for the unpredictable British weather - what a joke! Last time will buy from them and will make sure friends and neighbours don't either. read full review »
