I applied for Passport Renewal in Sept 2010 in Indian Consulate NY and I have been waiting since that time. First of all the site sucks!! I mean really sucks!! When I call them, somebody picks up the call but hangs up immediately when I say Passport status or puts the phone aside and I can hear people talking around!! I have been emailing them daily, no response. The site says that due to heavy call volume, please email us to know the status of the application. I am so frustrated by the Indian Consulate. I don't know where I can file a case against the people working in the office. read full review »
