Purchased a Kenmore [made by whirlpool] dishwasher and within 11 months noticed a few rust spots on the racks. I have had this happen on very old dishwashers here and there and while it was a pain it was not a drastic problem. Over the busy Christmas season I noticed rust stains on some of my new white dishes. Well... by January I finally looked closely and the entire rack is cracked and rusting in hundreds of places!!!
