Union Telecom did not tell me that they do not return the "security" deposit - they simply provide a calling card, with outrageous per minute charges. Their lines have a lot of static. They drop lines and rebill the $0.39 connection charge. My effective rate on calls to UK including Union's bogus "taxes and fees" was over $0.10 per minute. Union Telecom is a poor choice if your average phone call length is under 10 minutes. The $0.39 connection charge doubles the rate.
