Ontario Savings: I recall a salesperson coming to my door asking to see my gas bill, to check if it was correct. The gas bill is under my mothers name. At the end I signed a form confirming they were they, and felt confident that the contract would not be activated ( because I was told I would have to call in to activate it) and I had no intention to do that. 3 years later I have moved out of that residency, and a new tenant has taken over, including the bill.
