I signed up with Real Estate Express to get my Florida Real Estate License (63 hour Pre-Licensing Course). This organization sends out email promotions stating they have recieved a grant for reimbursment of certian tuition cost from the California "Employment Training Panel" (ETP). These reimbursments are for training classes in "Home Energy Performance" and certifications needed to be a qualified Home Performance Contractor. The training and instruction is very good. This is an awful way to get educated I attended online at Everglades University for one month, withdrew, which was one class, and now being charged for a whole semester, the financial aid told me it was in the paperwork that if quit I would be billed for the whole semester, I have been since noted permanetly disabled through my doctor, and state and found to be unable to return to school or work. I recently attended this so-called school and what I experienced was utterly ridiculous and very unprofessional. The lack of service and customer support is beyond ridiculous at ACS. I have never received services (or lack thereof) from a "reputable business". I believe that when dealing with customers there is a common courtesy to be expected, but it is apparent that those who work for ACS have never had such training. Something seriously needs to be done about this...and NOW. The rudeness is not needed, necessary, or even conducive to good services. I was referred to this business by my university's website. I was led to believe that I had paid for a degree verification that would have an option for mailing a physical document to my home. Instead, I got a .pdf document that failed to include confirmation of my degree and only included the information that I am "not currently enrolled" at my university. When I contacted customer service within minutes of realizing that what I had paid for was not what was promised, they got back to me two days later and told me that I am not eligible for a refund. I have a huge problem with CEFI. There is nothing I can do with them. Do not recommend this school to anyone. Did not get 14, 000.00 worth of education. They passed people through who did not even show up to class.
