Respected Sirs,

I am a student from an average family. I completed diploma and now planning to apply for lateral entry BE at anna university.I have 97.4 % marks and I belong to OC community. The problem here is, in spite of taking higher marks, just because of my communtity (OC) I am unable to apply for top colleges, even though i apply the chances are extreamly less.

I am very much disappointed with this. Is this how equality maintainted in INDIA??. If it was about merit, then what is the point in bringing Castes in to education? How is one case superior than another?

Is this acceptable? Please i want some superior authorities to take necessary steps to this.

This is a very serious issue in education. Make everything based on marks.
