This organization sends out email promotions stating they have recieved a grant for reimbursment of certian tuition cost from the California "Employment Training Panel" (ETP). These reimbursments are for training classes in "Home Energy Performance" and certifications needed to be a qualified Home Performance Contractor. The training and instruction is very good. The problem is that as of May 8, 2010 it has been over one year since I payed $2700.00 for a 12 day class. I was told once all qualifications were met reimbursments sould be expected around August 2009. I contacted CBPCA in September 2009, December 2009 and again March 2010 each time I was told to expect payment in 60 days.
I contacted ETP in April 2010 and was advised that CBPCA had not yet completed and submitted the required forms. I was told by CBPCA these forms had all been completed months prior. Once CBPCA has you money they have little concern of completing there obligation to the contractor.
