I left UAE on January'08, my friend is regularly paying the monthly due before the due date, thru internet banking I was able to check my accounts history, inspite of paying the dues before the due date without fail, I was shocked to see that I am being charged of two kinds of credit cover, two kinds of finance charges, late charge, and collection agency fee. My mother in law travelled from Ahmedabad Intl airport to Sharjah. The traumatic experience she had at Ahmedbad airport is unexplainable. We are not asking for a state of art service, but atleast provide the passengers with BASIC AMENITIES. When AMD airport was handling one flight thrice a week - the infrastructure was same. I sent a few electronic items( 2 TVs & a home theatre system) by sea cargo through Rona Cargo in Sharjah to Cochin, Kerala, India. Recently I applied for Finance house credit card, the sales man told me the card is free for life and i can get 5@ cash back for 90 days if I make purchase of min of AED 1000/- Later when i got the card by courier I found there is no mention of 5 % cash back, and they have the exclusive right to change the term and condition without notice to the customers. There was a mix up as to whom to send payment schedule to which resulted in the bill falling behind which made all the payments be late, thereby creating a bill that started at $500 to now be over $800. I could not make any on time payments, because i did not know how much they were or when they were, due because they contacted the wrong person and by the time i found out the bill was already backed up. HSBC may wain the award as worst bank in Dubai...I have been trying for 7 days to get my internet password reset and no matter what I try it never seems to work. The last straw was when the call center agent told me I could pick up a phone banking number (my original was never received) at any branch.
