My wife and I purchased an engagemnet ring and 2 matching wedding bands totalling $8, 500.00. Took my vehicle in for its First service today. As it was due at 6000km. booked apointment with dealership and was told to bring vehicle in for 2pm. took vehicle there for first oil change... Since I live far from GTA I booked my furniture 4 months in advance. On delivery I only received a part delivery of furniture I was promiced and have forced me pay multiple payments. Be ready to have no life no sick days and no family emergencys. I just moved here from montreal and this year happen to be the year where bad news just kept rolling in. Buyer Beware!! I bought a non-stick pan from Plasma and after 6 months it lost it's non-stick properties, even thought the warranty was for 20 years. This pan cost me almost $300 on top of it all. My wife was charged twice for having her watch links removed to fit her wrist. Instead of measuring how many links needed to be removed, the manager asked my wife how many she wanted removed. Of course my wife never having removed links before guessed 4. Apparently, she needed to have guessed correctly because there needed to have been one more link removed. So because the 5th link needed to be removed, my wife was charged twice for the service. $30 dollars!!! The quarter panels were rusted, the emergency brake was seized and the front tires were bald, however, we were told it would be fixed and inspected by Crown Tire. We picked the car up a week later. Here is my experience at Whitby Optical in Whitby Ontario . Absolutely horrendous customer service experience (quite possibly the worst I've ever had). I was using my computer. All at once, I found that my computer has lots of viruses from no where. I was not able to invoke any program. It forced me to buy a software to get rid of this virus problem. I had to enter my credit card details. The moment I completed the transaction, viruses dis-appeared. My next course of action is to contact the Ontario Better Business Bureau to have this matter reported.
