The customer service is terrible. My package was lost in the mail, apparently never got scanned at the post office. Dollars 4 Gold only insures their packages for 100 dollars not 500 dollars as advertised. Neither the postoffice nor dollars 4 gold will take responsibility for lost items. We purchased tickets Jan 19th 2010 to let our son, daughter-in-law and two children fly down to Miami for 10 days-they were to fly March 16th 2010. We bought through Sears Travel who took photocopies of their passports and sent them on to WestJet. Never Ever do any business with Universal Energy, or Universal Power, or Just Energy. Their door-to-door reps just tell you lies all the time and once you give them your utility bill(s), they got you. Other than you have to pay higher rate on your utility bill, several things they will never tell you, and you will end up with pay extra $$$: 1. There will be a "provincial benifit" charge on your account, and that can to anywhere up to $100 per month. 2. They can charge you on your electricity bill for about 10% percent every billing circle. I sent them a money transfer and they emailed me that they have recieved it and the tv has been shipped, and then 2 days later they say that I have to pay duty on it. My wife brought in her car to get her bumper fixed (she backed into something while she was backing out of the garage) and was told not to worry and that her car will be back to a new condition. When she picked it up, all they did was repainted the original fascia. They did a spot painting on it (so they were able to remove the scratches), however, you can tell where the paint fades/overspray onto the original paint. This company was hired to install Granicrete countertops in our kitchen and bathroom in January 2010. They were not trained by Granicrete and were purchasing the product through a 'friend'. The work done on our countertops is sub-standard, as confirmed by a Granicrete installer who has since come to look at it. Samsung Electric Range FTQ386LWX. Original price $1699 purchased at Sears. The convection fans stopped working within 3 months. Waiting for over 3 weeks for parts that were supposed be a rush order. Now the stove takes 30 minutes to get up to temperature and then fluctuates up to 100 degrees. I used the steam clean feature and small pieces of metal are falling off the oven walls. First off, I would like to say Sutherland Models is NOT a scam, but it is however, a rip off. They accept ANYONE, even if your as tall as a metre stick, if you have money. You pay $997, plus a $200 deposit to hold your spot in their modelling program for teens. You have to pay more for your comp photos, which cost about $100 for 2 prints. I had 6 specialty windows (3 panes of glass) installed in March of 2008. I am still trying to get the two that aren't made right replaced.
