Wow. I've never dealt with a "legitimate " company with such an attitude. I bought a Yardworks 20" mower (60-1767-6) from Canadian Tire in the fall of 07. Worked fine for a year. Based on a showroom sofa, we ordered two leather sofas from Palliser. When they arrived they barely resembled the one in the showroom. All the leather seams (which are sewn in Mexico) of this supposedly Canadian made sofa were gathered, puckered, wrinkled so badly that the sofas looked cheap and hastily made.
