I am a victim of anti virus scam. Last January 7, 2009. UPS Store on Cambie near 18th likes to convey impression that they are just like the post office, so when you ask them to weigh something for postage, they put it on a meterless scale and add a hefty premium to whatever Canada Post would charge. You then pay them, and likely you would leave it as that as they tell you they will take care of it. Ultramar doesn't install to TSSA (technical stadards and safety association) standards. Ultramar installed an external oil tank to the side of my house, boring a hole through solid rock foundation without strapping the tank. Result, tank sunk 12 inches but the pipe didn't causing the 3 inch pipe to support the weight of the oil and tank, and thus leaking. Even after tssa said it wasn't to code, they wouldn't do anything and ultramar said the contractor they hired/used was at fault. Hmmmm. Just another example of how people are taken advantage of. My daughter parked my car in a lot operated by Imperial Parking Canada. The machine that dispenses tickets was not working but she left the car parked and thought she might get a parking ticket but was prepared to pay it. Beware UPS hidden fees. I used the UPS store on Cambie near 18th yesterday. I asked whether they did regular postage. I purchased the above product on Nover 28th, 2008 for a Christmas present. On Christmas day, it was open. Initially all seemed well but the unit indicated rechargeable battery low. So as per instructions the adapter that came with the unit was plugged into the wall and it seemed the unit indicated charging. I received text message from 88588 since Nov., I thought they are just junk message and deleted them, but my Rogers bill came out very high, because each of the message was charged $2.00. I didn't apply anything from either Rogers or Trivia. I feel it is kind of illegal trick stuff. Last August, we ordered a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator at a price of around $2000. We live in a rural community and had to pick it up in a nearby community ourselves.
