Today I paid a collection agency for a bill that was never mine just to keep it off my credit rating. I cancelled our service with webhosting on the telephone in August 2007 as they were too difficult to contact and usually had to wait on hold for over a half our at a time just to speak to a customer service representative. Winner of $125, 000, The Bank of HSBC Buffalo, New York 14203 dose not exists. The check they sent me for $3, 975.00 can not be cashed. They want you to call there very well trained claim analyst before you can cash it and then you have to money gram at Walmart it and send it back to them sounds like fraud or money laundering to me. Blooms, made three un-authorized charges to my credit crad, as part of their rewards program that I wasn't aware that I had even signed up for. I paid for my flower order and expected that that would be the end of the transaction once the flowers where delivered. But to my suprise Blooms continued to bill me for their rewards program for three months after the original sale! Be wary of Rogers! If you cancel their services and you are part of the "VIP bundling package" you are charged for all the "savings" you received in that plan. I called a rep and they stated that when you sign up on their bundling plan, you eneter a 2 year "verbal" committment and if you cancel early you incur the "savings" charge. Nowhere do they mention this on their statements, but they insist it's a VERBAL committment. Rogers Communications make it a habit of bilking even the most long-standing customers out of every penny possible. Their complaints department practice the art of bouncing you around from department to department giveing you no support until you can take it no more and hang up. It seems that certain payphone operators in the USA no longer allow the use of Canadian calling cards to make toll free calls back to Canada. I made two calls from the State of Washington last year that cost over $40. The calls were added to my regular phone bill even though we pay for a block of long distance. She is extremely rude and once you paid your ticket price she does not care anymore.
