I purchased 4 all season tires from Canadian Tire and paid to have them installed. After a week I noticed a bulge in one of the tires so I took it back to be replaced. They told me that it is no problem to replace the tire since it was obviously defective. Once they were done with replacing the tire I was told the cost is $32.00 for labour to replace the tire. I argued that I already paid for that...but all this was to no avail. Unbeliveable bad customer service...I took my car to the Canadian Tire in Bolton for a rattling sound, they charge be $83.00 to determine what the problem was. I was called later in the night to advise me of the cost to fix, and I agreed based on the cost that I was quoted. Next day I went to pick up my car the cost was $798.00. I purchased a gift certificate for 150CAD on 23rd March 2007. The certificate had an expiry date of March 23, 2008 on it. There were no shows that I liked were staged before the expiry date. I contacted them to extend it on 24th and my request was denied. I was literally thorwn out of their office. In Ontario, by law, if a business has received money for a gift certificate, they can not hide behind an expiry date and refuse to homour the certificate. We bought a Laptop from Futureshop and after a hardsell they sold their warranty to us. The computer had a problem in 2 days. They tested it for 2 minutes and they said my yahoo has some problems and they went on to say that we should know a little about computers before we buy them. Futureshop never gives warranty they will give you 200 reasons that the warranty cannot be covered. They will blame it on something. I purchased a 2005 Ford Escape from Kanata Ford not even two weeks ago. They have had the car for repairs 5 days already. It gets returned to me (after I go pick it up from them of course) and still doesn't work. I have had two tows and missed countless work hours, sat at the side of roads and generally been frustrated. My complaint is about the unfair rental practices and the shoddy conditions of living at Complex Southwest One in Pointe Claire Quebec. This is the worst Customer service I EVER DEALT with. Problem: 3 yrs ago, Bell replaced their smart cards with new ones. They were supposed to be sent to all subscribers free of charge, so they could replace their old ones.
