At the time of purchase the product is working in good condition, but with the passage of time the product is not working. We have put our son in YKROK day care center in Inner Ring Road, Bangalore. Despite the huge cost they charge, this place is too crowded. The teacher child ratio is about 12:1 though they claim that its 6:1. Luckily, we have put him only for half-a-day. Whirlpool engineer visited my home end March 2011 to check the non-working window AC and gave in writing that the rotary compressor was not functioning. The compressor is within 5 years warrantee period. The AC was taken away on 1st April and returned in my absence after 11 days with some old compressor which is groaning and making intolerable noise. Even after my family protested that the repair was ineffective and bad, they still installed it. I find attitude of the repair workshop very poor.
