Two different RTO offices in Bangalore have calculated taxes differently for the same vehicle. I had first visited the Jayanagar RTO and then the RTO on the Hosa road. The Jayanagar RTO personnel calculated the tax and the same was duly paid, but since my residence is in the jurisdiction of the of the other RTO, they directed me to submit the papers in the other one. The Window AC since its installation in 2008 is giving one or the other trouble. Initially the IV blew away twice, the gas leaked twice( immediately after the guarantee period) . It does not provide sufficient cooling, the electricity consumption is too high. I came to know that 2008 lot was defective and company replaced quite q few ACs. It is distressing that despite repeated requests nothing has been done so far in my case. I am not going to get the gas filled again by paying a hefty amount.
