I got "robbed" by this huckster. I was just starting out in July 2004 and will admit that I was very naive. I had just started my own online business and came across Vickie Riley's ad (3saints.net), now nowhere to be found. I was promised 100 paid signups in 60 days. I paid $595 for this after speaking to Vickie on the phone and all seemed to be on the up and up. She answered all my questions and responded to all my e-mails. She said she had sponsored a site just like mine a few months earlier and they got 48 paid signups in 3 months. I waited patiently for 60 days with not one, NOT ONE, signup. I emailed Vickie again and she said it would take 120 days, but that there was some definite interest in my program.
Well, I waited 90 days with still no signups, and tried to contact Vickie again. But, you guessed it, she was gone with my money and provided 0 signups. Many of you are probably laughing at how stupid I was, but I was a "newbie" and definitely learned a hard lesson. I put in a PayPal complaint and hope others that got "hosed" will also. I may not get my money back, but I learned a very valuable, although costly, lesson and hopefully she will be brought to justice or at the least I can save someone else from falling for this scam.
