I purchased a car from 4 Front car sales last year and had problems within a few minutes of driving out the forecourt. It was fortunate that I insured the car for mechanical breakdown as the engine eventually blew up, which cost about £10K to replace. Generally, the car has given me nothing but trouble. I have spent thousands of my own money on correcting defects, hire cars and generally getting it to a reasonable quality. I was out of pocket in the sum of around £7K (not covered under the insurance policy) which I had not been able to recover directly from 4 Front car sales. After months of wasting my time trying to recover my losses directly from this company I had no alternative to sue them.
