I am a pre-paid Airtel Custgomer (Mobile No: 9903011321). I am getting too many messages (all unsolicited) from Airtel. Many of the messages are self-repeating often 6 or 7 same messages. I travel a lot out of India and often find that the SIM Card is full because of the unneeded and purely trash Airtel messages with no room for any important info or message.
As I write, I have got 6 new messages: AD-54321 repeated times 3, 54321 repeated twice and another message 543103. All these are Cricket Message and never requested for any of those.
I have sent a NDNC request (No. S1026290052) and was assured that
this business of unsolicited messaging will stop in 45 days. That was mid December 2010. This is still going on.
This must stop, otherwise I will have to switch to some other more consumer friendly carrier.
