I've had the Barclay credit card account for my gasoline purchases through Lukoil Gas Stations for several years. I never had a problem before; however, the last payment I made (on - time) was received one (1) day late as per Barclay associate. I asked them nicely if they would please waive the $40.00 late fee plus interest as I was never late before and I couldn't explain why they got my payment one day late. They refused even after I faxed them and made several calls. I had to pay the fees and closed my account immediately.
BARCLAY CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS...BEWARE...
THEY STINK!!! THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS...SHAME ON THEM!!!
