BE WARNED: Don't use these guys!!

This company was once ABC Contractors, and they closed up shop and just re-opened under a similar name. According to the Better Business Bureau, their website clearly lists Ed Arcos as the owner although the Secretary of State records list some other guy. There's a red flag #1.

Red flag number 2, as of today (9/28/09) they are not a licensed contractor in the city of Chicago.

If you get references, check to make sure a permit was actually secured in the Company name to prove that a job was even done. Check under original company name, ABC Contractors, Inc. I think they gave me names of friend and relatives and I don't think the jobs they described even existed. I should have checked closer.

They didn't finish my work, work they did was shoddy and whenever I complained, it was always my fault and I was physically threatened by Edward Arcos the owner. I know this sounds extreme, but it's the truth. I should have checked these guys out more. They cost me thousands.
