DO NOT FALL FOR THIS RUSE. I connected to the Diet Max site from a link on the MSN site. They offered a trial bottle of Acai for only the cost of shipping - $1.49. I went to the order form to order this trial item. There was a “Terms and Conditions" item on the order form, but it was not active. Clicking on this T&C did nothing. As soon as I entered the order a screen appeared showing a $99.97 charge that could be recovered by filing for a mail-in-rebate; plus the $1.49 shipping charge.

I called customer service immediately to cancel the order. I was told I could not cancel because of the contract I accepted in the terms and conditions. I asked to speak to a manager and eventually got a man who identified himself as Steve Conner. I told him to cancel the order I had entered just a few minutes ago. He repeatedly told me I could not cancel and the best thing to do was apply for the rebate after the order was received. He finally agreed to cancel the order, but charges still hit my credit card. I registered a complaint with my bank about the Credit Card charge.
