i ordered acia for a trial bottle for 97 cents and was charged 167 and change - this is rediculous - what is being done about this ??

Being charged membership fee every month after cancelling free trail CW-MEMBERSHIP 8009895907 of $12.43

I was reading our local newspaper online and clicked on a link "Oprah's #1 ranked diet pill" or something similiar to that. I started to read about the free trial offer for only $4.95. As I was clicking off, a new screen popped up and said "oh wait, don't go, I will knock off $3.00 right now so your free trial will only be $1.95. So, I thought okay what could it hurt. It then immediately took me to the page for my credit/debit card info which I completed. I checked my credit card later that evening and I had a charge pending of $41.85... I immediatley called the next day, was on hold for over 2hrs and was not about to hang up. The gentleman informed me that I had the option to "opt out" of the 2 additional products I bought and I chose not to do that...THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. I feel very sorry for people who do not catch on. I am now in the process of trying to get a refund and I am quite certain I will fight for my life to receive it.

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION WHEN ORDERING OR AGREEING TO THIS FREE TRIAL OFFER. TRUST ME THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO OVERCHARGE YOU. AND BTW, IF YOU DO NOT RETURN OR CANCEL EXACTLY HOW THEY TELL YOU TO, YOU WILL BE LOCKED INTO A SHIPMENT EVERY 15 DAY'S AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED OVER AND OVER. BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!!
