Technician from Acme came to fix the thermostat and for the check up.. A battery was needed, which we supplied.He did not have time to do the check up, but after looking at it said the unit was rusty and needed to be replaced.
We gave him a check for $2000, It was cashed immediately. Too late to stop payment. The next morning we cancelled the order, and requested the money be returned.We have called and called, and went down to the office.TO NO AVAIL.
This is indeed a SCAM on the elderly.The unit is in terrific shape, not rusted out, nothing is wrong with it.We want our money back. They have stolen from us, and lied to us
