I had bought a series of products that was discounted in the fish department. The value was not very much and I prepared two of the items for dinner, and had one ready for the morning since I usually must rush out and needed a quick meal. When I opened the package the fish was spoiled. I threw it away. Taking it to the store is a problem since I have a bum leg and can only handle so much walking in a day. Today, the 17th of June, I bought the same and took it home and the date for freshness is the 20th. When I opened the package the products smelled a bit rancid. I am cooking them now and hope that I do not get food poisoning.
