Activheat Sock and Glove liners Reviews

Activheat Glove Liners & Heated Warmer Muff
I purchased the heated glove liners and hand warmer muff direct from Activheat. Let's start with the fact they charged $25 shipping which was supposed to be delivered to me within 3 days and took 6. The items could have been shipped Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope for less than $6. This should've been my first clue the company has poor customer service but it was my decision to pay it in the first place. Once I did get the items the muff barely got warm using Energizer Lithium batteries and the spiral cord connecting the glove liners to the battery pack broke off when it got caught on my interior car door handle when pulling away from the handle. These gloves are made for outdoor activities so the wire being pulled out with such little force and motion made me realize the product isn't made very strongly and I would probably be best suited returning the gloves for a refund or at least exchange them for the liners that don' have exterior cords that might get tugged. Looked on their website and that was mistake no. 2. I should have looked at their return/refund policy (if it can be called that) before I purchased because it pretty much tells you that this Activheat aint gonna give out refunds (or exchanges for that matter) without a time consuming and costly battle. I don't want to make a long story longer so I will just fast forward to present time. Most of my emails have not been returned, the ones that were stated I would be responsible for all return shipping and shipping back to me ($30) and I had to get the same items originally ordered even though they were defective and not conducive to my needs. Guess what? I still have the two original items and they suck but, not as bad as the company that sold them. I am going to order from Venture or Versio for heated clothing as their reputations seem better. I think Brookstone used to carry Activheat but they no longer do...wonder why?

No response
I bought the glove and sock liners from Activheat website back in October 2010. After we got them, we realized the sock and glove liners didn't work. We sent an email to Activheat Customer Service and they told us to find out whether the problem is the sock and glove liners or battery pack . We did what they told us and emailed them again on what we found. However, they didn't response back. I tried so many times to contact Activheat through emails but no answer. It has been close to 3 months since we got the glove and sock liners and it has been sitting in our closest. I wasted US$98... Activheat is not a good company. I wouldn't recommend their products and this company to anyone.
