I experienced an large overcharge on my Master Card from this company called Aflorists in Mississauga, Ontario. They also go under the name of Gifts, Flowers, Bridal as well as Blooms & Roses. The gentlemen who answers the phone is extremely evasive, rude and abrasive if you are calling to complain. He places you on hold for 10 minutes at a time and refuses to provide receipts to customers once they have placed an order. I was very persistent with him about obtaining the receipt and he did not oblige. Finally my Master Card statement arrived in the mail and I knew immediately why he did not want to provide a receipt because he had overcharged me $113 over the original amount quoted for a bouquet meant to total $100 only. When I inquired why the charges were so high he said that this is the amount he charged for delivery and taxes. I would suggest that the Better Business Bureau or a Consumer Advocacy group start to investigate this business – it appears they are better at stealing from people than delivering goods!
