We booked way in advance for a short break; our first in 2 years. My credit card was immediately debitted for the full amount of the stay. We arrived yesterday only to find that the hotel is a total mess; aircons don't work, pool is green and cordoned off, room lights don't work - the place is literally almost falling down. They messed us around from 15h00 to 20h00 trying to get repairs done and checking various different rooms to see if they were okay - not one was totally functional. We then asked for a refund and were told this was not possible. It was now after 20h00 and we had to find new accommodation and finance it ourselves. All this with a 7 month old baby in tow. This is disgusting as there were also tourists standing queue to lodge complaints - this just before The World Cup...
