We have a 23 hp Agco Lawn tractor with a 54 inch mowing deck. We bought this unit "NEW" and mow only our lawn, my wife does most of the mowing. She is not a rough user of the equipment. In 5 years I am now rebuilding the steering for the third (3rd) time "if I ever get the parts". We ordered parts on April 1st and was told that they would be shipped in 2 weeks. So with no other option I did a make shift repair and continued to use the mower, thinking that we would have the new steering spindle, gear and bearing. With the continued use, the worn spindle gear has now ruined the steering gear. I ordered that as well and it now is on back order for 6 weeks. It's June 22, the last arrival date given was June 15th, it has come and gone as well. It is apparent that Agco has a major problem, the back order tells me that they can not supply parts to "FIX" all the "BAD" units out there. It also tells me that I should have bought a John Deer unit!!!
