I have had this policy for several years. The first time I tried to use it, they were unable to get me a service tech when I needed one. I went out and found one and paid for it out of my own pocket. Next time, they sent a guy to check out our (new -13 month old) Kenmore ELITE SXS Refrigerator Freezer, because the ice maker motor quit working. Also they found our that our KENMORE ELITE GAS RANGE had a low temperature in the oven. It was low by 70 degrees from what the range temp indicated. Actual 280 versus indicated 350. Now I found out that both parts are excluded from the warranty plan. When I called for service, I told them what the problemwas, hoping the repair guy would bring some parts. At no time was I ever made aware of the exclusions until after I paid for the service, though if you read the very fine print it does state they are excluded. This is a typical bait and switch tactic. DO NOT USE THEM, they are crooks.
