I have an Airtel fixed lanline number 41513888(it has a broadband connection with it) As this connection is at Connaught Place in New Delhi, the phone has been dysfunctional for the last several months on account of CWG work at Connaught Place. We have now requested airtel to give us a discount(withdraw the bill amount) on the telephone on the latest bill issued by airtel( bill no. 5267142780). The discount was confirmed by your personnel AS PER REQUEST/COMPLAINT REGISTERED BY PHONE (reference no.-171978613-spoke to parul(8 Dec 2010) and ref. no. 170672728- spoke to bharat) We were advised not to pay the bill and that it would be adjusted in the next billing cycle. We also requested your personnel to reply and confirm this in writing wherein they advised us to send a compliant by email on [email protected] We had also further requested vide the same telecon to give us a call confirming that the amount of bill is not to be paid and that the same would be adjusted in the next billing cycle. Your personnel confirmed that the call would be made by airtel within 24 hours but the call has not been made till date(9 Dec 2010-3:15 p.m.) We now request you to withdraw the amount of Rs 716/-( bill no. 5267142780-due date is 16 Dec 2010) to avoid confusion at a later date and in the subsequent billing cycles. An early action in the matter is solicited.
