unfair practice
They have unique way of annoying customers. You lodge complaint with their BPO. Without addressing complaint they will send message after three days that your complaint has been addressed. They remain and what remains is your complaint. Such a long process is to get through to them that after your reach the customer care through IVRS, they would ask you to hold on and the phone will get disconnected. You again have to take full round and in the process you exhaust yourself. This company is thoroughly unprofessional with least priority to customer care. About five months of relationship with them has been annoying. Strong regulator which can pull them for unfair practice is required.

Cheating with customers
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am using Airtel since last many years and my mobile number is +91 9987559586. I have always faced network problem but my concern is not network.
I have taken Blackberry Enterprise Services, Rs. 899/- monthly rental plan wherein i get unlimited browsing and downloading in that package.
Yesterday i.e. 19/10/2009 i recieved a message as given below:

Message: Get uncensored videos and Gossips from bigboss house season3!!! unlimited download!!!

Today i.e. on 20/20/2009 i clicked on the link given above from my mobile and the very next moment i got a message from Airtel Live (54321) as below:
Thanks for downloading Mp3 Tone from Airtel.
You have been charged Rs 99. Play Games http://gclub.in
I called up to the Customer Care (121) immediately and they said that they can not help it. Since i have clicked it i have to pay Rs. 99 as rental. I just want to know that where you people have mentioned in that message that it is chargeable or terms and conditions are applicable. Please note down the reference number that i got from customer care: F572534043. See its not a matter of Rs. 99/- but its a matter of cheating customers. I am really not interested in any such activity. Now tell me if i have already taken unlimited downloading plan then why would i pay Rs. 99/- extra for a service wherein nothing is mentioned that whether its chargeable or not.
Apart from this i have activated Missed Call Alert service on my number. Since 4 to 5 months i have been charged monthly rental of same but i done recieve a single message from yopur end about same. Despite the fact that i always get complaints from my colleague/ freinds/ family/ etc that my mobile is always not reachable because of network problem.
I am really fed up with the service thats why i am writing this mail.
Kindly help the needful or else i have to opt for some other options.

bill payment
i had paid my bill on the 16th of oct
and ever since every morn since 7 in the morn i get calls from the airtel company regarding my bill payment..
why cant they update it i do not understand
and it is not the first time this has been happening since the past 5 months since i got the airtel no.
and to add cherry to the cake they have barred my outgoing
EVEN IF I HAVE PAID MY BILL
i have called 20 times but no proper respond '
i want to sue the service provided

non activation of prepaid sim
I HOLD A PREPAID MOBILE CONNECTION FROM AIRTELWITH MOBILE NO.9908149039.I HAVE APPLIED FOR A DUPLICATE SIM ON THE GROUND THAT MY ERLIER SIM WAS LOST.SIM WAS PROVIDED TO ME SAYING THAT THE SAME CAN BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 24 HRS.I HAVE VISITED THE DEALER FOR FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST 45 DAYS TO GET THE SIM ACTIVATED.ON 19TH INSTANT I VISITED THE DEALER FOR THE 5 TH TIME ON THE SAME MATTER. THEY HAVE REPLACED THE EXISTING SIM WITHA NEW ONE AND THE STORY REPEATS. ON TALKING TO AIRTEL CARE MANY A TIME THEY ADVISED ME TO GO TO THE DEALER AND TALK TO AIRTEL. BUT DEALER REFUSES TO TALK TO AIRTEL CARE.AN AMOUNT OF MORE THAN RS 100 BALANCE IS OUSTANDING .LAPSE ON THE PART OF THE NO1 NETWORK TO GUIDE THE CUSTOMER PROPERLY CAUSING MENTAL AGONY FOR THE LAST 45 DAYS.PLEASE LOOK INTO ATLEAST NOW.NAME OF THE DEALER: PADMAJA ENTERPRISES, DEEPTISRI NAGAR, CHANDANAGAR, HYDERABAD. (1)Your customer care executives are use less
They don’t know anything, even they don’t have knowledge .
(2) VODAFONE, DOCOMO, are much better and cheaper than airtel.
I don’t know why you people simply cutting Rs 1/- daily. I have student plan for what should I give 1 rs to you daily.
i will not take airtel again in my life.

Joke service activate on my number without my concent
Aitrel's Comedy Junction Service has been activated on my cell no. (9967146262) without my concent and notice. I am also charged with 15 rupees for two consecutive months (September and October) as service charges.
This is for the second time that such services are activated on my cell without my approval. The previous incidence was activation of Caller tune.
I want some one to take strict action against this

Number used for 6 years assigned to someone else
I have been using the same number for over 6 years now. All of a sudden, it gets "suspended". When I call up airtel @121 - answer given is that this number belongs to some other name, so no complaint can be entertained from me.
Later on persuading, I have been asked to visit local office.
I am in Bangalore Bannerghatta Road office for over 4 hours - but same situation. All that manager has to say is we have given request, it will take few days to correct it?
I had a important international call, working with international client and at present in very critical project phase. People are already questioning my accessibility. Thanks to Airtel, what a payback/gift for being a LOYAL customer for over six years.
