booster not activited
Just now at 7.00 am to (1.9.2009) I have paid Rs.97 and echarged for booster. I got the message i.e.
RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL ON 01.09.2009 AT 6.55 P.M. TALKTIE RS. 0.00 MRP Rs.97.00 Trans.ID 470565712.
I regret to inform you that I have not yet received the booster back activation facility if I use *124#. Why it is happened? Is it Air tel service. I am life time customer paid Rs.999/-
Kindly take necessary immediate steps to do the needful. If not with the above recharge successful can I approach to the higher authorities legally? I stored above the echarge message also. S. Krishnasamy, Gandhigram Rural University, Gandhigram-624 302. Dindigul Dt.

Network Problem
I am using airtel prepaid service since last 2 years and my no is 9766174590.I am facing problem of network in my area which is very week since last 6 months and i have registered complaint in customercare but they did not solve my problem yet so please help me.

Postpaid Connection
My self Chetan Thaker, Airtel Mobile (Gujarat) Postpaid customer from last 6 months. I had a postpaid connection with Number 097241 80906, which later I transferred to Prepaid. By 19th August 2009, I bought a new post paid connection (095588 05368) from airtel mobile (Gujarat), Vadodara Alkapuri Office. Airtel office customer care executive asked me to pay Rs.500 for the deposit and asked me for the Id proof and photograph; which I provided at the same time. My mobile started working, but My International Outgoing calls were barred till the time of address verification. Later the verification was done and my International Outgoing calls were active. On date 30 August 2009, my outgoing services got barred with reference of Verification Undone ?? I visited the same alkapuri, vadodara airtel office on 1st Sep 2009, 02:20:13 pm to complaint about the same and they couldn't contact their Verification persons and told me that they will not refund my money nor active my outgoing calls till they talk to the verification executives which will be around 10 minutes. I agreed to the same and given the time till 30 minutes. The executive didn't call me yet by 02:50:00 pm. I am going to register this complaint to the Consumer court of India as well as the Indian press for this sort of fraud happening with me by airtel.
Which affected my Domestic as well as International business and TIME.

Miss use of my personnel document
I have a Mobile connection No. 930022771 . Few days before I got an offer from the company that my pre-paid number changed to post paid as per their P 249 scheme. For this they asked some documents and I put my passport zerox, photographs and Rs.500/- though Airtel company representitive and that time he give a new SIM Card and tell me it will start within ten days as my own number. But I checked the new sim card after 5 days and found it started with a new number i.e . 9503022771. that is not useable to me because I work with a Security company and that my number spread all over market so I approched the company rep. Mr.Rahul (09890696367) and he advise me to contact their higher office in Swargate that is 25km from me.In this saturday I reached that office and two of company rep. attend my problem but they can't only waiste my three hours. they suggest me to cancel the new connection first and then put up once more all my documents. I have no spare time to go back with this matter. Please advice to cancel my new number and return my money and documents.

Disconnecting phone service
Dear Sir
I' regular customer for Airtel since 2007.Last month I bought a prepaid connection (9561059643).Actually Airtel employee visited out society and explained about the plan and gave me 64k Sim as against the regular 16-32K SIM.
Phone worked nicely for a month.During this period Airtel representativ visited the place to varity my documents and address.After that I received welcome call.
Suddenly on 29-Aug at around 10pm it showed that SIM failed to register.
Next day I called up Customer care and enquired about this. I got an answer that some declaration document not received.
Next I again called where to go and other stuff, This time the reply was my documents is invalidated.
As a TRAI guidelines I should get some message for the same which i never received.
Now if i call the person who had visited our society .He has left AIRTEL company...
This is very bad situation...
I had given my documents with my signature now I don't know whether those documents are in safe hands or not.
I have no issue in resubmitting the documents but for that Ii require some SMS from Airtel saying that you require to send the documents and also reason why the documents are invalidated...
Can anybody help me in this...
Cane consumer court help me in this as my service was abruptly terminated without giving any intimation

Horrible service -- they dont respond --- waiting to get myy no disconnected since 2 months
My name is Sheetu Nijhon and I took the aitrel postpaid no 9970394011 on 1st Sep 2008 in pune. Since then I was experiencing a lot of network issues and i left complains with coutomet care also. I personally went to the airtle office and complained. They always use to assure me saying that its will be ok in a month but it never happened.
After that around one to one and a half month ago in July 2009 I finally decided to get rid of it. I wanted to disconnect the no so I went to the kalani nagar office of airtel in pune. There some manager Gaurav tried to convince me for 1 hr not to disconnect the no but I was not convinced. I cleared all my pending paments, submitted an application and id proof to disconnect and they told me it will be disconnected in a 2 days.
I forgot about it and thought it was disconnected until a week ago when I recievd a bill. I was very angry and I went to the same kalani nagar office of airtel where they told me to repeate the procedure again. They told me to clear the dews again because they had probably lost my application or dint want to disconnect as it will reflect bad in there accounts. So now i was suppose to pay the bill though i had no sim and i had not used the number since past around 2 months. I refused to pay the bill as i had not used the no and I m not responsible for there carelesness of loosing documents.
Then a person Amit and prayanka in office told me that they will check the call history of my number and if it is 0 then they will process to disconnected. So I sat in office for another 2 hours but the network was so bad that they were not able to check. It was heights of pathetic service. So I left it to then to see and disconnect.
I am wating since 2 months for my no to be disconnected and you claim to do it in 2 days ... havent seen worst service than that. If you read my mail at least now disconnect.

detuction of money

Serious Dereletion of obligations
Repeated Complints made that BSNL land phones cannot be connected from 9831006644 at Kolkata. There is no ring tone but as line is diconnected charges are deducted. Complain nos 30808120 dt 8.8.09, no 3081340 dt. 13.8.08, no 308145424040 dt. 14.8.09, 3082229454800. Every time a time frame is given for solving the problem after asking set questions like model of hand set, the BSNL numbers and finally referred to seniors whose number goes on buzzing with no response. One Mr. Sabyasachi acted smart to the extent of disconnecting the line. The problem is that I am not in love with Airtel but my number have been given to nearly 250 odd people. I LEARN THAT THERE IS A PROPOSAL BEFORE THE GOVERNMENT FOR CHANGE OF SERVICE PROVIDERS WITHOUT CHANGE OF NUMBER. I AM JUST EAGERLY WAITING WITH A FEW MILLION OF YOUR UNSATIFIED CUSTOMERS SO THAT I/THEY CAN SWITCH OVER TO VODA PHONE, AND GET RELIEVED OF THE USELESS SERVICE. DURING YOUR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICE AND NOT ENTERTAINING COMPLAINS MY VODA NUMBER HAVE STOOD BY MY SIDE.
